Cellist and owner and operator of StringsOhio
Rachel began Sage Music Services in 1989 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and over the course of nine years
expanded into San Antonio and Dallas. Upon re-locating to Cleveland Rachel brings her experience to
StringsOhio.

Rachel received her Bachelor of Music Performance from Southern Methodist University, under the tutelage
of Lev Aronson. Other teachers include her main mentor of more than ten years (and beyond) Anne Cole of Albuquerque, New Mexico and several members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra through the
Tanglewood Summer Institute.

Her symphonic performance experience includes Principal cellist of the Arlington Opera, Assistant Principal
of the Plano Chamber Orchestra, and a member of the Santa Fe Opera and Opera Southwest. Smaller
ensemble experience includes The Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, the Sage String Quartet, Klassical
Kids Live!, The Strings (with members of The Cleveland Orchestra) and the StringsOhio Network.
