Violinist
Amber Dimoff has performed with many orchestras including the Seattle Symphony, the San Antonio
Symphony, the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra, the Akron Symphony, the Pacific Northwest Ballet, the
Playhouse Ballet Orchestra, the Blossom Festival Orchestra, and the Cleveland Pops Orchestra. She has
performed the Wagner Ring Cycle with the Seattle Opera and regularly plays with the Cleveland Opera. A
member of Red {an orchestra} as well as City Music, Ms. Dimoff has also performed with the Northwest
Chamber Orchestra, the Cleveland Chamber Orchestra, the Trinity Chamber Orchestra, and the Ohio
Chamber Orchestra. Ms. Dimoff frequently performs solo and chamber music recitals in the Cleveland area,
regularly playing at the First Unitarian Church of Cleveland.
Ms. Dimoff has a Master of Music degree from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Music degree from
Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music, graduating magna cum laude from both schools. She was
concertmaster of the orchestras at both schools and was the winner of the BW Concerto Competition. Her
most influential teachers were Dr. Gary Kosloski, Gerardo Ribiero, Stephen Majeske, and Joseph Silverstein. |
