Violinist
Leah Goor earned a BM in violin performance at the Eastman School of Music where she was a student of
Peter Salaff. At Eastman, she was named the Dorothy Richard Starling Scholar and studied chamber music
with the Cleveland Quartet. She holds a MM and a Professional Studies Certificate in violin performance
from the Cleveland Institute of Music. She is the co-founder of the Music on the Hill chamber music series at
Hiram College. Goor is a member of the Athena String Quartet and the Hiram College Piano Trio and
performs with Red{an orchestra} and the Cleveland Opera Orchestra. She teaches at the Settlement, the
Fairmount Fine Arts Center and Hiram College and has coached chamber music with members of the
Cleveland, Tokyo and Juilliard Quartets
