Violinist
Deborah Coltvet Klemme is a recent graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music, where she studied with
Principal Second Violinist of the Cleveland Orchestra Stephen Rose. She currently teaches Suzuki violin at
the Cleveland Music School Settlement and has performed with the New World Symphony, Cleveland Pops
Orchestra, Canton Symphony Orchestra, and National Repertory Orchestra, among others. Ms. Klemme is a
well-traveled musician and has studied and performed in Canada, Russia, Austria, and Germany.

Ms. Klemme studied with Frederick Halgedahl and received her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance
from the University of Northern Iowa, where she graduated summa cum laude. Throughout her studies, Ms.
Klemme has had the opportunity to work with violinists Andres Cardenes, Jacques Israelievitch, Peter Salaff,
Almita Vamos, Teri Einfeldt, Kimberly Meier-Sims and Therese Fetter.
